Things I Learned in Catania

I’ve Learned…

*to eat the pasta alla norma… as often as you can!

*to wear appropriate shoes when hiking a volcano.

*the city dates back to the 8th century BC; founded by the Greeks.

*they are very proud of Bellini. He is everywhere.

*that shopping in markets is far more enjoyable than grocery store shopping.

*how lovely and enjoyable Sunday passeggiata is.

*I cannot get enough of the Spanish guitar… in Italy.

*we would never know not only WHERE… but WHEN (as in what decade) we are.

*bars are small, resulting with entire piazzas and streets becoming like block parties!

*not to let things halfway across the world at home, impede your travels. Ever.
